Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around in the playpen as I was working 12-hour shifts cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing started to make sense, but was still far from being done. In order to furnish the house it would be an enormous undertaking with regards to time and money. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. In order to stay in my budget, I took my boys along with me as I searched for hidden treasures at estate sales. The weekly ritual was that we would stroll through garage and estate sales on Thursdays and Saturdays buying a mixture of new and old pieces. Then I would spend working on my projects outside in our driveway. Furniture looked this way... and that's where I found my love for restoring. I kept on restoring furniture even after we had furnished our house. I had an area at the market, where I would sell objects. My collection eventually grew to the point that the space that I was living in was inadequate. The house became a venue where I would host open houses. Up to 1000 visitors could see items from my first floor before purchasing them. Growing Days is the result of this. In addition to my thriving business, I also had the pleasure of growing our family. As a mom of a child I was able to find the perfect balance to both start my own business and also become a great mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. The year 2013 was the year my daughter Nora became our fourth child. The direction my company was heading was great, but I needed to rest for a while. I took some time away from vintage furniture to spend some quality time with my children. It was the right time. However, after just a couple of minutes the phone started getting busy. I began receiving requests from people requesting for assistance with home improvements and interior design. The majority of people who contacted me were from those who attended one of the furniture open houses. I began taking on clients one at a time going at my own pace but it wasn't too time before I was running numerous accounts and had the complete business of home remodeling. Most likely, I would have been laughing if I had been told that the company was to become the premise of an upcoming TV show that airs on the DIY Network. It's funny to think back about it.
